At Jody Shaw Designs, we know that early planning of details is paramount.
Knowing where to locate controls for heating, lighting and plumbing may seem over the top at the start, but it makes for an efficient and elegant home giving you years of pleasure that will stand strong through fashions and trends. We like to get under your skin way before we break ground by scoping out how you live and what features you want to include as part of the works.
We see our main job as creating a blueprint to which you will add over time. Sometimes we recognise that the drawing needs to include everything, down to the last cushion and vase whereas others prefer handover to be once they have a fully decorated shell. Either way, we want you to enjoy the process and let us create your new home exactly as you like it.
With Jody Shaw Designs on board, you benefit from a select team of specialists appropriate to your project, covering all key stages of the process. If you have instructed us as project manager, we have worked with tried and tested professionals (engineers, surveyors, architects and specialist builders) all the way to a successful build, liaising with local councils, building inspectors and preservation societies. We also work with an experienced team of plumbers, electricians, heat engineers, air-conditioning installers, damp-proofers and glaziers (to mention just a few!) to make sure that nothing is missed.
If you have decided to take advantage of our interior design service, we work you from concept through to successful completion (not forgetting snagging!), with the support of a set of specialists in cabinetry, upholstery, curtains, carpets, wallpaper and paint effects.

Our clients are busy people that have an eye for organisation and design but don’t always know how to get there! We guide our clients through the entire process, cutting out distractions and focussing on the best solutions for them and their project.

With over 40 years combined experience with our core team of specialists, we work to provide sensible and environmentally-sound solutions that will last several lifetimes.
