Project management and interior design. Extension of well-loved family house to include new 1F layouts, new 2nd floor extension, 2 shower rooms, play room, guest suite, re-plumb, re-wire, installation of AC, bespoke cabinetry, a secret room and window treatments throughout. A full interior design refresh: sourcing carpets, rugs, furniture and lighting.
OVERVIEW: We took this much-loved family home over from new local clients who wanted it totally revamped to grow with their (almost teenage) children and careers. Building to strict Conservation Area guidelines, an additional storey was added to include a guest suite (with a marble-clad shower-room), a new rumpus room for sleepovers and TV nights, as well as a hidden bonus room hidden behind bookshelves. The clients also took the opportunity to install new staircases and moldings throughout (carefully referencing the 120year old versions we replaced), re-wire, re-plumb and install AC to the upper floors and master suite. As well as new cabinetry, furniture from Julian Chichester wallpaper from Vescom, lighting from Pooky carpets and soft furnishings, we upgraded the house’s tech to have office-grade wifi throughout -perfect for a modern family that lives on Zoom and Netflix!
